What would you like to change/suggest? Providing ID at the entrance is surely for checking the correct age. But on the other side it's really useful if you check for the name as well. So it'd also important maybe to note down/check the Names of the persons who enter a club. Also to check if they are banned.



Why would we do that? - Well first of all it shows the guests that we /have/ their names listed! So this might prevents them from doing any crime inside the club. Of course It won't prevent /everyone/ from risking to do a crime/felony/assault/misdemeanor. So the next useful thing is that IF they have commit anything we can help the police better in any investigations afterwards.

That is so much work! How do we do that? Well of course the Guard at the door has to be fast with the ID checking so it's almost impossible for him to remember all the different names, or even to note them down that quickly. Also he can't remember all the faces along with the names. So that would need a ID scanner. Every ID has the photo, name, age etc on it listed.

When will we do that? We would mostly just do it when we have the feeling that the club/betting shop/casino could need some extra security. (For example, if he received any threats lately by some criminal organization) We always should ASK the owner/manager beforehand if he wishes us to use those machines!

Are we allowed to do use those machines? I was speaking on the 991 Hotline to Raul Delgardo, a member of the SD about it. He told me we could do that. We just have to make sure that the ID-Scanners are valid/certified. If this suggestion get's forwarded, then we could maybe talk to a licensing officer to find out more about it and to be very sure.
